Naokao LYFOUNG
It had been a few weeks, a few days that we expected such news. My great uncle fought for months against cancer, unfortunately, never were there good news. With great courage he remained alive and took the time to live his last moments with his children, presumably to give them his last words …
I put here the email from my uncle Tim (Tichu) who has always kept abreast of the health of his father and finally told us about this event of magnitude for our family and, I believe, the Hmong community.
To all of you
My father Naokao has just die today, tuesday, May 4th, 2010 at 7h00. I regret to confim this bad news.
Thank you for praying for him. Bye.
And in a second letter giving us the date of the funeral ceremony
To all of you,
I confirm to you the dates for the Funeral Ceremonies for my father :
FRIDAY 18TH JUNE 2010 TO SUNDAY 20 JUNE 2010
I don’t know the name of the Funeral Home yet but I’ll tell you later, that’s OK.
Prepare yourself for a long travel to come here at our home. You are all welcome here. If you cannot come and travel, that’s ok. We don’t mind. We know it’s far away… Please, continue to pray for him until the end. The difficult period of mourning (French : deuil) is only beginning for everyone of us.
Thank you for your support and prayers. Bye.
